Being a Jag
I have learned a lot of things in the classroom since I've been at South, however, I have also learned a lot of things about myself. Being away from home and actually on my own for once has shown me just how driven I can be. My family used to consider me a homebody and I had practically no motivation to do anything. At South, I have grown as an independent person and now strive to get the things I have to do done as soon as possible. I am still a procrastinator at heart, but once I start something I see it out until the end. I think this has a lot to do with a new sense of urgency in my life. That now, I have to do everything and cannot rely on anyone else to accomplish the things I need done. South has allowed me to grow and develop new tactics to deal with real life issues I might face on a daily basis. Becoming a newfound "Go-getter" is just a small part of it!
